16th Century Remote Control
At times a harry wizard opens his mouth in the east and a small drop of water falls from my faucet here in Berkeley.
I have an interesting tale here of a young boy who found a sturdy leaf in the middle of the street, bound with animal fibers of a sort and little metal buttons. Other people had seen it in their cars and thought it was some squirrel that they'd run over, and they'd just keep driving. The boy knew it was something special. picking it up (don't tell mom i pick up random things of the street he said to his imaginary friend) He picked it up and took it home, washed it off, and then when all the house was quiet, and the family dog was curious but too happy to really care, he thought of pressing it. (why not, right?, its probalby just a leaf) He pressed it. Nothing happened, He pressed it even harder. Hmm. it does press like a button, like a 16the Century remote control. But alas, he sighed, it did nothing, He pressed the big star shaped button , nothing happened, he pressed the large lightening shaped button, nothing happened. (Oh well)
It is important to note that at the moment of his pressing the buttons miles away the planet of Jupiter winked its large stormy eye, and an old galaxy in andromeda lost its star.
